Hey, guys. It's Nick from F150LEDs.com. Today we just want to take a quick second to show you a Paladin Optic LED Bar Cover here, installed, and how it works.
All right, so it's very simple. It's really heavy-duty nylon material with heavy-duty stitching. And then on the front we're going to have, it's about right at one inch of a velcro attachment layer. Okay? That's going to make it easy for us to take the cover on and off when we go to use the bar, and easy to put back on.
Why might you want a cover? Covers can be good sometimes to prevent rock chips or rocks or debris from flying up in the road and hitting your Paladin bar. Typically, you're not going to have any optical damage, but it could chip paint and that kind of thing, so a cover is always good at protecting your aesthetic look of your bar.
Another thing is it can help reduce wind noise. Again, our Paladin Optics with the slimline design usually don't have any, but this can further help reduce any potential wind noise that you have.
And then lastly, some states and local counties and that kind of thing require covers to be on bars. All right? So, you got to check your local laws. Most people aren't affected, but some are, so that's why having a bar cover available for a Paladin Optics is important. Okay?
The easiest way, again, it's just going to be this one-inch velcro tab, so you can just peel the whole layer off all the way down, and then slide out the bottom or the top. And when you go to put the cover back on, what I find easiest, there's going to be a closed side here on the left side of your bar. You just start there, come on over the top of the bar like so, pull it forward, and then just start velcroing, and then you'll be able to pull the rest of your cover underneath the bar.
And then, when you get down here, depending on how your bar's mounted, you may do like a one-inch tuck-under. Okay? That's for versatility based on how you may mount your bar in different applications.
All right? That's just a rough look here at the Paladin series LED bar Optic.
