I was slightly apprehensive to mess with the wiring of my my brand new truck but I followed the instructions and it was a pretty easy install. Very happy I did because the lights look fantastic day and night.
These are very nice. Easy to install and easy to use. Thank You
Item works and looks great. I took the extra time to fish the wires between door sill channels, following existing harness, and also fished it under the rear carpet from passengers side to drivers side. Just a FYI for those interested, the remote transmits a RF Signal (Radio Frequency), therefore the pick up sensor does not need to be exposed. I hid mine under the rear drivers existing kick/sill plate, keeping the clear glass like side of the sensor facing up. I can open any door and stand pretty much anywhere around the vehicle and control the lights, works fine. If the remote was Infrared it would require line of sight and no obstructions, thankfully it is RF, great choice.
