Little Skeptical At First
Let me start out by saying I do not write reviews, but I felt this needed one. The pictures can be misleading to a small degree as my 16 sport lariat goes from p/r/n/d/m/1/2 rather than p/r/n/d/m. I was already expecting 1 and 2 to not light up. This is my 2nd order from here and both times the shipping has been amazing. I got up this morning and decided what the ****, might as well knock this out. I have built my truck and know it very well. The video instructions are right on par! If you don't work on your truck very often or little to no experience on how to turn a wrench, follow the video and you got it. Install was very simple and placed the power wire into fuse 36 as this will turn the lights on at start up. If I really wanted to get all fancy with it I could have wired them into the headlight switch but decided not to. The entire shifter positions are lit up extremely bright as I can see it during the day. I just installed it today so I do not know what night time looks like. The wire is a little long so I did cut it down by about 10 inches and spliced it all back together. Only thing I can say bad is I wish the IR sensor could be moved to a spot of your choice. It doesn't look bad in the console though. I would have preferred being able to place it around the little pocket area on the driver side. If that is the only thing I can complain about, this is a must have.
