One of my lights will not light up . . .
MANY OF OUR LED PRODUCTS ARE POLAR SENSITIVE, MEANING THE DIRECTION OF ELECTRICAL CURRENT MUST BE ORIENTED IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION IN REGARDS TO NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE POLARITY.
IF YOU HAVE A BULB THAT IS NOT LIGHTING OR PERHAPS IS ACTING STRANGE, REVERSE THE INSTALLATION OF THAT UNIT BY 180 DEGREES (ONE-HALF TURN). MANY TIMES THIS WILL RESOLVE ANY ISSUES.
Also, be sure to make sure your contact points are making firm connection, your light connector may need cleaning or your metal tabs may need to be net slightly to ensure strong contact with the light itself.
One of my lights stays on . . .
While rare with our bulbs, this is nothing to be alarmed about. Due to how efficient the LED’s are they require very little energy to ignite, so any residual power in the lines that could not power the stock bulbs can actually keep the LED lights partially lit until all of the residual power dissipates. This will not cause any damage etc. You can add an inline resistor to your dome light wire to eliminate this issue or use a MKII version bulb.
The color between bulbs seems different? . . .
This is a very rare situation but sometimes an LED light can be caused to ARC (typically from a trauma experience) This can cause the LED to change colors (typically very slight variance). You must only compare the same bulbs to one another to see if this has happened.
We can swap out any bulbs that may have a color difference in them for you.
Light Fitment Issues . . .
EACH OF OUR LIGHTS ARE CUSTOM FIT TO YOUR PARTICULAR VEHICLE. THIS FIRST THING TO CHECK IS TO ENSURE THE CORRECT LIGHTS ARE BEING INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT AREAS. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT WHERE EACH LIGHT GOES, PLEASE SEND US A MESSAGE.
*FOR 2015+ MODELS, IF YOUR TRUCK IS EQUIPPED WITH OEM LED HEADLIGHTS AND THE REAR BLISS SYSTEM THAN YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO INSTALL OUR LED HEADLIGHT AND TAIL LIGHT REPLACEMENT BULB UNITS. YOU WILL NEED TO RETURN THESE UNITS FOR A REFUND WITHIN THE 30-DAY WINDOW.
Mirror blinker/ Mirror running light kits - Do I need to buy both? . . .
Each light strip has a single function. On or off. You cannot have the light be on for running lights and them make them flash for blinker function. Also one kit requires additional wire length for the install. That is why the kits are separate, both can be fit into your mirror and while one acts as running lights, the other can power on and off to act as blinkers.
Are these legal for road use? . . .
My raptor lights look red? . . .
Our MKI raptor lights used an agressive 'exreme amber color' which had a sliht tint of red. Our new MKII raptor lights now use a much more pure amber/yellow light.
Will the Rear CREE reverse bars casue an issue with back up sensor? . . .
We only have had less than half a percent of fellow F150 owners ever report any issues such as that, and they were resolved by adding a simple in line resistor.
Will the Rear CREE reverse bars fit a 2004-08 or 2015+ model? . . .
Yes! The isntall verises only slightly for the 04-08 as oyu need to drill your own hole in the bumper, and the 2015+ already has mounting points.
Which lights will fit my 2001 series F150? . . .
Your 2001 can accept our 2004-08 fog lights, front marker lights, front turn signals, rear tail lights, reverse light and interior lights. The add on lights will also work great!
Can I install puddle lamps pn a truck that does not already have them? . . .
You can replace the small black 'filler' piece with the OEM puddle housing and wire the ground wire to the ground wire of the mirrors blinker and run the power wire to the purple wire on the mirror connector itself. You can then replace the dull OEM bulb inside the OEM puddle light housing with our super bright MKII LED unit!
