Which wires do i need to be using? I see multiple blue and or black wires...? . . .
The two wires you want to be sure you connect to are the two wires powering your gear shift indicator lights which will come on when the truck senses it is dark. Check out this photo for a further reference.
Can I adjust the intensity of the ambient light? . . .
Yes! You can control the intensity using the wirelss remote intentsity switch. You can also use the OEM dash light switch.
Can I install this cup holder kit at the same time and in conjunction with the ambient light kit? . . .
Yes, the isntalls are very similar and can be installed in conjustion with each other.
Can I choose between multiple colors? . . .
Currently, we only offer the kit in 'cool white' which is a great match with Ford interior lighting. If you want a different color, contact us and we will see if we can do something custom for you.
Can they change color?. . .
The lights are cool white which match the trucks oem dash gauge lights etc very well and you can change the intensity but not the color.
My lights dont seem to stick very well.. . .
Make sure your mount location is very clean before mounting the lights. If you still have issues than we suggest using some RTV silicone to help adhere the lights.
Can I install this kit on a truck without a center console? . . .
You can install this kit on your truck, we have had many fellow F150 owners do this. They simply tie in for power behind the headlight switch using the grey/purple wire.
Can I install this kit on a 2004-08 or 2015+ F150? . . .
You can install the 2009-14 version kit on your 2004-08 or 2015+ truck, although the install may vary slightly.
